The 2022 Southern Division of the American Fisheries Society Meeting will be held in-person January 20-23, 2022 in Charleston, South Carolina

The South Carolina Chapter of AFS has the distinct honor of serving as host chapter for the 2022 Meeting of the AFS Southern Division.  This meeting will be in-person and is scheduled for January 20-23, 2022 in historic downtown Charleston, SC.  After the unprecedented 2-year pandemic, we welcome the opportunity to enjoy comradery and science at the host hotel.  Our planning committee has been busy creating an exciting program which will include workshops and symposia, concurrent technical sessions, and a trade show.  Planned evening events will include socials with open air spaces to mingle and the grand social with our fish friends at the South Carolina Aquarium.  The numerous meeting events, coupled with the myriad of things to do in Charleston, will make the 2022 Southern Division AFS meeting an event to remember!  Check back soon for updates including calls for symposia and papers and registration information.
